Obama's Ratings Still A Hot Topic
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 24% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-two percent (42%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -18.
That’s a one point improvement from yesterday when Obama’s Approval Index rating fell to the lowest level yet recorded. Prior to the past three days, the Approval Index had never fallen below -15 during Obama’s time in office. Obama's recent ratings continue to make the news. These poll results are from the Rasmussen Reports and show much the same as the Gallop Pole results... that Obama has hit an all time low. When the President went on Oprah, he rated himself as a "a good solid B-plus". I'm sure it seems like he's getting more done from his vantage point. I'm certainly not saying he's had an easy job. Could you imagine a less popular president in office during all this? Still, according to most of the articles I've read it seems the major issues are still a pervieved lack of action and, probably more so, the Health care issue. 56% of American's appose Obama's Health care plan so, one can hope that it won't ever got done. Other politicians who were riding the Health care issue are also seeing ratings dips and are having trouble during re-elections. From my perspective, it seems like this bill is a disaster. What do you think?
