What the Recruiter Never Told You
It's a numbers game, pure and simple. Recruiters are judged by their superiors primarily upon the number of recruits they get to sign up. Sign up large numbers, and you're judged to be a good recruiter. Fail to sign up the minimum number assigned to you (known as "making mission"), and you can find your career at a dead-end. This policy pressures some recruiters to adopt unethical practices in order to "make mission."
So, you ask, "why don't the services put a stop to this?" Easier said, than done. Each of the services have recruiting regulations which make it a crime for recruiters to lie, cheat, or knowingly process applicants that they know are ineligible for enlistment. Recruiters are punished when they are caught violating the standards. However, the key phrase is "when they are caught." Not that easy to do, as there are usually no witnesses. It becomes a "he said/he said" type of deal. Recruiters are getting a bad rap these days as pressure to perform pushes some of them to bend or break the rules. I don't judge no one but i do respect everyone's opinion. I ain't scared to fight because i would love to fight for my country like they fought for me one day.
It is very easy to sit back in the comfort of your home and say things about the army or the military men and women out supporting their country. Most people who would speak badly of the armed forces probably have never had to stand up for what they believe in. I have not been in the military but I thank all that have. Thanks for giving your time and protecting what you believe in.

Many hates the US Military now, but how many times the US Military helped those who have the nerves to say shit against them, especially my country, They never owe them what they have now; and if the recruiter thinks he is really ineligible and signs him up, and few years later that man whom he signed up became a good leader,Sometimes doing the right thing may need to violate rules.

I respect everyone's opinion but before all those a**holes are judging the USA military first they should go try to get in it and see if they are really useless. I have duel citizenship with the USA and England. I am in the US Army and proud of it! the RAF is kick ass as well as our military. However, the difference is, we know what we are doing.... This was is NOT fraudulant. we DID find WMD's (just ask the 19th special forces mountain division about the green goopy shit) As for us being useless yanks, look at you guys, lazy, always have to have your bloddy freakin tea and you dont wanna break a nail. but when you actually do your jobs (rarely) you do great at it! how about you do it A LOT MORE!
