Communications And Information Officer

The Air Force employs a vast network of satellites and computer systems to create a global communications grid. This grid keeps all branches of the military in touch, from the forces on the ground to the pilots in the sky. As a Communications and Information Officer, you’ll be expected to learn the inner workings of this complicated communications grid. In addition, you’ll be expected to maintain the security of communications sent along this grid including performing defensive information tasks. During Air Force operations, commanders will look to you to provide them with an interactive view of the battlefield that will aid them in their decision making.

All Air Force career fields are based on qualifications and job availability.
