Financial Management Officer

The continued success of the Air Force depends on its financial solvency. As a Financial Management Officer, you will manage financial programs and operations. You will also develop special studies and analyses of management problems and recommend solutions while serving as the financial adviser to commander and staff. Your responsibilities include developing techniques and establishing internal controls, performance standards, work schedules and priorities. Financial Management also involves advising the commander and staff on status and progress of command programs and maintaining liaison with other agencies to develop standards for financial management policy and procedures.
