Security Forces Officer
Due to the sensitive information and technology within its fences, an Air Force installation is required to be one of the most secure places on earth. The job of maintaining a base’s high level of security is that of the Security Forces Officer. As a Security Forces Officer, you will manage security activities from weapon systems security to air base defense. You will also be required to enforce military law and perform antiterrorism duties. Your daily duties will include leading patrol movements, enforcing standards of conduct and conducting tactical drills. You will also be required to develop security plans, policies, procedures and instructions.
